Carol Boland, M.S.N., A.P.R.N., C.R.N.P.

Carol Boland is a nurse practitioner with a wide range of experience including gynecology and family planning, as well as general pediatrics. Her special interests include allergy and asthma management, as well as comprehensive adolescent health care. Ms. Boland has been in practice with Ridgefield Pediatric Associates since1990.

Ms. Boland's education includes a B.S.N. from Penn State University and a M.S.N. from The University of Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Association. She completed a mini fellowship at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in 2006.

A member of the National COPD Advisory Panel, Ms. Boland has coauthored several articles and supplements related to smoking cessation and prevention. She has also coauthored a chapter with Dr. Susan Leib on physician and nurse practitioner collaborative practice. She currently resides in Newtown, Connecticut with her husband and three sons. Carol enjoys gardening, reading and outdoor excercise.
