Most recently, Dr. Verna has been practicing pediatrics in Darien, Connecticut. Her past experience has included private practice, a community health center, and social work. Her achievements have included “America’s Top Pediatricians” by the Consumer Council of America, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY, and the Daniel Leight Award for Outstanding Achievement in Social Medicine, Montefiore Children’s Hospital, Bronx, New York. Dr. Verna lives in Westchester County with her husband and two children. She is fluent in Spanish. She is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in addition to having some appointments on Saturday morning. |

Dr. Verna received her Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx New York in 1996 and completed her residency in Social Medicine from Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in 1999. Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University and attended Columbia University for her Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program.
